Unhappy with your current system's efficiencies? We can carry out a productivity improvement study on your existing system.

My experiences include using management consulting firms recommedations in carrying out organizational efficiency studies. This is combined with a personal, detailed understanding of business systems and accounting.

A productivity study is normally carried out in three phases:

  1. Planning and scoping - we work together to plan the scope of the project
  2. Do the work - we keep you informed of what we are doing so there are no surprises
  3. Reporting - we present our findings and recommendations to you

A typical study would involve doing all or most of the following:

  • Gain an understanding of your business
  • Examine all aspects of your system in the scope
  • Identify major activities and tasks
  • Interview key staff
  • Trace the workflow for critical processes
  • Identify bottlenecks and problems
  • Find potential solutions to the problems
  • Produce a report summarizing our findings and making recommendations for improvement

If necessary, we can help you set up and project manage a team of your staff to implement our recommendations.
