Note: Over the years, I have found the following sites or utilities of some usefulness. Use at your own risk, surf responsibly, etc.

MS Access and VB

Dev Ashish's Access Web Page Probably the best Access resource around. FAQs, code, utilities, add-ins and lots of tips, plus a comprehensive set of links to other resources on Access.
Trigeminal Software Michael Kaplan's site with utilities, components and tools. His articles and musings are worthwhile reading. Includes free code to recover the database password from any Jet 3.x/3.5x database.
Foursquare Solutions Pat Tourmey's site mostly on Visual Basic. Includes the very useful AppStat error tracker for both Access 97 and VB. Read his article "The Final Word on Primary Keys".
Matt Hart's Black Belt VB Page FAQ's and solutions to common VB problems. Many free code samples. UserControls, articles and newsletters if you subscribe.
Microsoft Naming Conventions A concise guide to naming conventions plus tips on formatting and commenting your code. Uses my preferred shorter naming convention for variable names: sName instead of strName.
Reddick Naming Convention and other stuff Gregory Reddick's page with downloads of his Naming and Coding Conventions plus other interesting stuff.
Microsoft Access Free Downloads Useful free stuff from Microsoft, including bug fixes. Select your Access (or other) product from the drop-down box.

Web Style Guide An on-line version of the book by the Yale University School of Medicine's Center for Advanced Instructional Media (CAIM). I know I've broken many of their rules. Read it and then tell me how bad I've been.
Search trademarks and domain names using wildcards The Intellectual Property Portal by Marks OnLine. You can find out just about everything about every web site and trade mark here.
Find out the IP address of any web site Use the Nslookup page to find the physical IP address where the domain name resides.

Shields UP! Did you know that, without your knowledge or explicit permission, the Windows networking technology which connects your computer to the Internet may be offering some or all of your computer's data to the entire world at this very moment? Follow the Shields UP! link to have Steve Gibson's excellent site check the security of your computer's connection to the Internet. You may be very surprised. Lots of other good information on security and network issues. You'll get very paranoid and with good reason, too.
Zone Alarm free personal firewall After you've been to Steve's Shields UP! site, you'll want to download and install the free ZoneAlarm 2.0 firewall on all your computers. ZoneAlarm Pro has a few more features and costs money. At this very minute, there are lots of nosey idiots out there trying to scan your computer and all its files. Keep them out. This is especially so if you are on a cable modem because your computer is open 24/7.
Dimension 4 time synchronization utility Fed up with your computer's clock always being wrong? Want it to be synchronized with the US Navy's atomic clock? Install Rob Chambers' Dimension 4 time synchronization software onto your Windows 95/98/NT computer. Unobtrusive, accurate and, best of all, it's completely free.
FRHED free hex editor for 32-bit Windows If you do any work with binary files you need a good hex editor. Raihan Kibria's FRHED free hex editor is brilliant. Very well constructed with options to work in hexadecimal, text or binary mode. An excellent piece of freeware.
