My approach

SPCS is able to combine a strong management consulting discipline with detailed computer programming expertise. I help make the link between your corporate strategy and the technology that you actually need to achieve goals beneficial to your enterprise.

I subscribe to a basic axiom of systems that:

A complex system that works is invariably found to have evolved from a simple system that worked.

Typically, I initially spend time analyzing how clients' current systems are working (or are not working) and recommend ways to improve them. The first phase of a study normally results in a detailed report to senior management outlining both exisiting and potential problems along with possible solutions. I make sure my recommendations are consistent with clients' strategies.

Then I do what most consultants don't like doing, I actually deliver a working solution based on our recommendations.

All software is tailored specifically to your needs and designed to complement your own unique way of doing business. With concentration in Microsoft Access and Visual Basic software solutions to business systems problems, my solutions can be used on most organization's computer networks without further expense or system modification.

I am a much cheaper and more effective alternative to large ERP systems for a medium-sized organization. This is especially so if your problems are awkward and not easily adapted to a "standard" software solution.

I prefer an incremental approach to creating our systems, proceeding in small steps and thoroughly testing each stage before continuing. This eventually results in systems and software applications that are solid, reliable and easy to use.
